Is Joey Muthengi behind Cess Mutungi’s ‘divorce’ with Chris Kirubi?

Senior Capital FM presenter Cess Mutungi will soon be leaving the station owned by Kenya business tycoon Chris Kirubi.

The  veteran presenter  announced  that she will be leaving the station after 10 years of service.

Rumors has it that former Citizen TV host Joey Muthengi will be replacing the self-styled chairlady Nairobi Citi Titty Comitti, has been a senior presenter cum producer of the Jam 98.4, an afternoon radio show which runs every day from 3 pm to 7 pm.

Taking to her twitter handle, the radio queen announced that she will be taking the bow very soon and thanked her fans for the love they gave her.

She also thanked her fans for showing her tremendous love for a whole decade and for making the show a success.

Her fans expressed their  disappointment following her departure announcement.

 

 

Ms Mutungi will host her final show at Capital FM on Friday.

Before joining Capital FM where she worked as the host and producer of The Jam98.4, Cess worked at the Royal Media Services; Hot 96 and Radio Africa Group’s Kiss 100.

During her career, her social life has also been chronicled in sections of the press, including allegations that she was found in a compromising situation with a well-known corporate CEO.
