Angry Uhuru Issues Strict Directive Following Mandago’s Brother Murder

Cases of brutal murders have lately been on the rise in the Country with Security agencies time and again cautioning Kenyans to be extra vigilant as they go about their day to day activities.

The Killings have targeted Kenyans from all walks of life from the Rich to the Poor with Politicians also becoming targets.

The latest set of killings have seen Uasin Gishu Governor Jackson Mandago lose his elder brother in unclear circumstances.

Mandago’s brother’s body was found in a building at Chepkanga market on the outskirts of the town.

President Uhuru Kenyatta has today condoled with Mandago following his brother’s death.

While delivering his condolence message, the President asked the relevant law enforcement agencies to stop the rising cases of killings being witnessed in the country. The President said the rising cases of mysterious killings involving innocent Kenyans across the country are alarming.

President Kenyatta said rogue elements cannot be allowed to continue violating innocent Kenyans. He said the recent wave of killings in Matungu and in other parts of the country are regrettable and asked the police to bring the perpetrators of those acts to book.

10 People have so far recorded statements with the police as investigations intensify to unravel the mystery surrounding Mandago’s kin death.

Police suspect the man, who was an employee of the Kenya Pipeline in Eldoret, may have been murdered and his body dumped in a section of a building that is under construction.

Moiben Deputy county commissioner Lilian Langat confirmed the incident and said police have launched investigations.

She said several people had recorded statements and a postmortem would be conducted.
