AFC Leopards and Western Stima played to a goalless draw in the final Kenyan Premier League match of the season played at Moi Stadium Kisumu.
The Big Cats had first chance the game but Robinson Kamura sends wide the delivery from Brian Marita after a corner kick. Stima hit back minutes later but Soter Kayumba goalline clearance that ensured that Ingwe did not concede.
AFC Leopards enjoyed possession in the opening minutes but could not make it count while Stima pressed hard in the closing minutes of the clash but could not earn a goal before halftime.
In a bid to change the scoreline Boniface Mukhekhe was introduced.
Austine Odhiambo was also handed playtime but could not help the side brak stima’s defense. Stima, on the other hand, could not break AFC Leopards defense.
The match would end goalless marking the 10 draws of the season for Ingwe. They end the season with 11 wins and 13 defeats.
Ingwe Conceded 39 goals and scored 33 goals in the season. Stima on their part have ended the season at position 13 after eight wins, 15 draws and 11 defeats.
