Kamumbi Police Station has been declared the most corrupt and worst station in Kenya after revelation of how they have poorly dealt with the kidnap of a girl by a Zuri matatu.
One Peter Ambuka has narrated the incident on Facebook;
“Pray for my girl who was hijacked by Zuri bus and instead of getting into Kahawa West they diverted towards kiambu, the girl tried to knock with a coin,shouting to alight but they told her to keep quiet and put the loudest music that the public won’t hear the cry,
the girl decided to jump for her safety, she fell now with a broken leg, and bruises at her back n swelling on her head, fortunately the motorcycle along kamiti had seen the girl struggling to come out
and they blocked the Zuri bus got hold of the driver and called Kiamumbi police who came and took in the car and the driver and the tout,
we went to Kiamumbi wrote the statement but to our surprise the bus was released, The officers changed the statement to sound light for the driver and tout, they are now out with a bond of 30 k the hijackers, something is very, very wrong”
The Directorate of Criminal Investigations and the National Police Services offices have been tagged the story for them to ensure true justice takes place.
