The Plot to end William Ruto’s political career is continuing to receive a lot of back up.
The debate was ignited by Team Kieleweke which is calling for DP Ruto to quit politics.
“If he (Ruto) is not ready to serve the nation he should go home. We can’t have divisions in a ruling party when people expect unity and development,” Cherangany MP Joshua Kutuny said.
The same sentiments have been echoed by wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka has boldly stated that all political leaders must stop setting the mood in early campaigns mood. Hon Kalonzo at the same tone credited President Uhuru Kenyatta for the efforts to end graft in the country.
But Machakos Governor Alfred Mutua has also called banning of political leaders who take advantage of funerals to advance their political interests.
“LEADERS WHO USE FUNERAL AUDIENCES TO POLITIC SHOULD BE BANNED IT is quite disheartening to go to a funeral where relatives of the bereaved are subjected to improper and most of the time callous political talk by some of our leaders,” Mutua stated.
Any leader who goes to a funeral and uses the occasion to attack others or make wild political statements should be banned from speaking in funerals.
