What Barcelona Needed to Borrow From Arsenal To Beat Valencia

It was yet another dark day for Barcelona on Saturday in their last match of the season.

Barcelona succumbed to a 2-1 loss to Valencia at the Estadio Benito VillamarĂn in Seville in their Copa Del Rey final.

The Messi-led team wanted so much to win the game and lift their second title this season in bid to regain their face after losing it in the Champions League semi-finals.

It was painful when Klopp’s boys overturned the Blaugrana’s first leg 3-0 victory at Nou Camp. The Reds surprisingly beat Barca 4-0 to secure proceed to the finals.

Aside from that! It was even more painful for fans when Valverde’s boys failed for the second time to deliver their promise of bringing back home the Copa Del Rey Cup.

For that reason, football fans were quick to point out what Barca missed that led to their humiliation. Fans reflected back at the semi-final match between Valencia and Arsenal when the latter bundled out the former by an aggregate of 7 to 3.

During their sensational match, two Arsenal players Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette were the scorers of all the 7 Arsenal goals in both legs.

In their first leg at Emirates, Valencia opened the scoring in the 11th minute by M. Diakhaby. Lacazette equalized the score at the 18th minute and then at the 25th minute before Aubameyang scored the third in the 90th minute. The game ended 3-1.

At Mestella Stadium, Valencia, Arsenal mastered their hosts by scoring them 4-2, with Aubameyang scoring a hat-trick and Lacazette scoring one goal while Valencia got their 2 goals through K Gameiro.

Fans, therefore, concluded that Barcelona missed the services of Aubameyang and Lacazette to master Valencia and win their double.
