Uasin Gishu County Governor Jackson Mandago has resolved to advising the youth on matters relationship and their social life.
In a video shared by ODM director of communications Philip Etale, Mandago advises the youth not to be in a hurry with life.
He says the social issues youths are going through is not a matter of life and death.
Starting with relationships, Mandago notes that out of 10 million marriages in Kenya, it is only 50 people who might have managed to marry their girlfriends.
He advises the youths to learn how to move on when their girlfriends dump them.
“Hii mabibi tuko nayo labda ni girlfriend namba twenty my friend…ukiambia no sema thank you very much, I wish well na mkipatana salimiana……” notes Mandago.
He further encourages the youth not to invest their emotions too much in start up relationships.
He moreover encourages them to talk to someone, more so friends and people older than them whenever they think they have been pressed by an issue, so as to get advice and experiences from other people.
Mandago further discourages the youth from being carried away by social status, referring them to the most recent fake gold scam where some youths have been involved.
