Harambee Stars star Olunga nets another goal for Kashiwa

Harambee Stars striker Michael Olunga scoring run in  Japan League continued as he scored in Kashiwa’s 1-1 draw to Omiya Ardja on Sunday morning.

Olunga scored at the 28th minute for the clash while Omiya equalized at the 66th minute of the clash. Olunga would be substituted off at the 83 minute with his place being taken by Gabriel Santana Pinto.

The draw leaves  Kashiwa at position six after 15 league matches of the season. The side has won six, drawn six and lost three matches played this season.


They side has scored 12 goals in those 15 matches. They have let in eight goals this season.  The team now shifts focus on next weekend where they will tackling Gifu are placed bottom on the log.

Olunga has been in the squad that will be preparing for Africa Cup of Nations.
