Bungoma Senator Moses Masika Wetangula will have to carry his own cross on the gold scam.
Ford Kenya Leader Wetangula is at the helm of the scandal as the key choreographer of the whole gold scam.
But in a new twist Hon Raila Odinga has come out to reveal new series of events that transpired in the gold saga.
Hon Raila Odinga yesterday broke his silence on the fake gold scandal admitting that he met the United Arab Emirates ruler Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
Claiming he was the scam’s whistleblower, Raila defended Interior Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang’i against accusations of involvement.
“In matters of this gold involving the Arabs (Dubai buyers), Matiang’i is as (clean) white as cotton,” Raila said.
In a leaked audio clip, Senator Moses Wetangula is heard striking a deal with Dubai-based buyer identified as Ali Zandi. Hon Wetangula links big names including President Uhuru Kenyatta, Hon Raila Odinga and CS Fred Matiang’i to the deal.

But Hon Raila Odinga is now calling for the arrest of those involved. Raila said he was the one who warned Sheik Al Maktoum that they were being duped.
The ODM leader said he quickly discovered the person who posed as Matiang’i in a phone call with the Dubai buyer was a fake.
“These people are crooks. They are known. Investigations must be heightened to arrest those involved,” Raila said in his last words
Hon Wetangula is now left to defend himself.
