How Kibicho is working with Odinga to spy on Ruto’s 2022 Matrix

The 2022 succession matrix has been termed by a political matrix as the most complicated. Already Uhuru has set the record straight that he won’t change the constitution for him to extend his tenure.

The two bulls within two major political parties are scheming on how to outdo each other while their political;l allies are being used as attack dogs.

The history of Raila Odinga and William Ruto is known since they were key members of the Orange pentagon that Musalia Mudavadi, Charity Ngilu, Najib Balala were members before joining their current perspective political parties.

The recent drama at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport between deputy president William Ruto and principle secretary ministry of interior Karanja Kibicho has now brought out the infighting within the Jubilee party.

The deputy president accused Kibicho of working in cohort with the former prime minister Raila to frustrate his 2022 presidential bid.

A local Newspaper reports that for about 15 minutes, the DP, who was seemingly angry, confronted the PS on claims that he instructed county commissioners and police commanders to shun his functions.

“Actually, Ruto told Kibicho I traversed the country looking for votes. If you think you are strong do the same. And the next time you call a commander you will know I was elected and not appointed. All other people were watching surprised. In fact, only Mwathethe responded according to the security officers who were at the airport, “He stated.

According to insiders, Raila has roped in State House Comptroller Kinuthia Mbugua, former presidential adviser Nancy Gitau, Interior principal secretary Karanja Kibicho and former Gatanga MP David Murathe to use their intelligence networks to spy on Ruto’s movement in and outside the country, and ultimately finish off all those supporting him.

The ODM leader has been pushing for an amendment to the constitution to create more seats at the top so that no tribal chief goes home empty-handed after elections. Those in the know say that Raila believes that changing the constitution to create many positions is the only weapon he has to stop Ruto becoming president.

Raila is banking on the 2018 March 9 handshake with Uhuru Kenyatta to marshal support for the initiative to pass through the legislative stages. He hopes that 24 out of the 47 county governments will approve the bill on the constitutional changes before it is tabled in both houses for ratification.

A source familiar with the development has said that the Ps might be working with several leaders especially mount Kenya to frustrated the bid.

Recently Nairobi governor Mike sonko still accused Kibicho of frustrating his effort to work for the Nairobian.

“I’m calling upon Kibicho to stop frustrating me, I’m working for the people who elected me into power and thus if he is interest for my seat he should prepare for 2022,’Sonko was once quoted saying.
