Danny Welbeck scores a hat trick against LASK Linz in an indoor friendly

Arsenal’s outgoing former Manchester United striker Danny Welbeck scored a hat trick in an indoor friendly match against an Austria side LASK Linz which ended 6-0.

The match was played in London Colney as Unai Emery stepped up his player preparations for the upcoming Europa League final in Baku against Chelsea on May 29th.

Although the details of the players involved remain scanty, details have it thatUnai played some of the players he plans to field against Chelsea in the Europa League finals.

Only one of Austria’s player played for more than forty-five minute in the friendly clash which many see as a way to avoid injuries.

The Austria League is also, not over yet hence the reason they played for shorter periods.

LASK is known to have a reputation for a high-pressing game but they played with a lot of caution all along making every possible substitution all along either side trying their best to avoid injuries.

It is not clear whether the English international, Welbeck will play in the Europa League finals yet after he said bye to the fans at the end f the season.

He was together with Aaron Ramsey who has already moved to Italian sie, Juventus and former Chelsea goalkeeper who is rumoured to be going back to the team for a different position.

Their rivals in the Europa League suffered a blow after one of their players, Loftus-Cheek got an injury in a like friendly match and has been ruled out of play for the next six months a thing manager Maurizio Sarri was against.
