Europa League final is just a few days to go! This season is going a bit different as only the English teams will be fighting for the title- it will be turned a London derby.
Chelsea will be meeting Arsenal for the final which is slated for May 29 at Baku Stadium, Azerbaijan.
As days draw nearer, emotions have begun to rise with each team preparing for the best way to tackle the other. It will be a hot contest owing to the fact that both teams have had a poor form this season.
Chelsea were a bit lucky to finish in the top four, after an enthralling struggle with both Manchester United and Arsenal.
Arsenal, on the other side, failed to secure a top-four spot after disappointing results in last three Premier League matches, meaning the Gunners will not feature in next season’s Champions League!
But Wait!
Arsenal have a golden chance to find themselves in the Champions League. How?
If they win the Europa League title, they will automatically qualify for Europe’s elite competition. For that reason, emotions are running high. The Gunners do not take a chance of anything that may bring them down.
Arsenal fans have sparked a gruelling reaction on the social media over who among their goalkeeper should play against Chelsea.
The Gunners outpoured on social media demanding coach Unai Emery to play Bernd Leno over former Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech in their Europa League final.
Here are some of the reaction;

Honestly if Arsenal don’t start Leno after what’s happened with Cech🤦🏻♂️ pic.twitter.com/kvPy9GVFwn

It's frustrating that we are still going to start Cech against Chelsea in a European final before he goes back to them. We have no reason to be sentimental towards Cech and Leno is much better than him and should start. https://t.co/LHI1j9pvBa

But what exactly is the reason behind Petr Cech’s rejection?
Arsenal fans have derived their argument from the fact that Chelsea recently made an offer to the 37-year-old after his retirement.
Chelsea have been without a technical director since Michael Emenalo’s resignation in November 2017, as director Marina Granovskaia has taken on the majority of his old duties since he departed the club.
The Arsenal goalkeeper, who turned 37 on Monday, announced he will retire from playing after next Wednesday’s Europa League final in Azerbaijan against his former – and future – employers at Stamford Bridge.
Arsenal fans fear that playing Cech could cost them their most important match this season. They argue that joining Chelsea is a huge conflict of interest and football has no room for sentiment.
Even though I'm sure Cech is hugely professional and will wish to bow out of his playing career with a winners medal, the fact he is rejoining Chelsea is a huge conflict of interest and football has no room for sentiment. If we play the final Leno HAS to be in goal.

Don't doubt Cech's professionalism at all but it's not right that he plays, we don't owe him anything. Leno is our no.1 and will be for years to come.
