During a Monday evening sting operation, detectives linked to Directorate of Criminal Investigation arrested four people suspected to be members of a Human Trafficking Ring in Kenya ferrying 22 victims.
The four Muhsan Shariff Abdikadir, amin Shariff Abdul Qadir, Elias Mahabub and Muhamed Doyo were arrested while ferrying the victims along Thika Road.
The victims were however rescued by the DCI detectives.

The four Suspects are in lawful Custody awaiting investigations.
The @DCI_Kenya Detectives, who acted on information,also confiscated Three motor vehicles-Toyota Land cruiser, Toyota Lexus and a Toyota Fielder, that were being used to ferry the victims. Elsewhere, on Monday Police intercepted another fuel tanker transporting approximately 135 bales of bhang from Ethiopia.
Directorate of Criminal Investigations Officers say the narcotics were inside the fuel tanker.
The officers say the lorry had been trailed for hundreds of kilometers before it was intercepted within Pipeline area .

“The Petroleum Tanker had been trailed for hundreds of kilometers before it was intercepted within Pipeline area by @DCI_Kenya Detectives. Detectives had to call a welder to cut open the Petroleum Tanker (which was completely welded) to expose the stuffed bales of Narcotics inside.”
Police are holding 27-Year-Old Hassan Ali, the driver of the lorry as investigations continue.
This is the second such case in two weeks when another fuel tanker was intercepted in Kasarani area carrying similar drugs.

The police commander said this biggest consignment to be nabbed in Nakuru County over the recent past.
The driver of the vehicle was arrested and detained at the Nakuru Central Police Station Nakuru.
