Kate Middleton Joins The Bandwagon Of Breaking Rules, Here’s The Rule She Broke

Breaking of rules is not Kate’s thing, but a mother will definitely do anything for the well being of her family. Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge, took her children Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis to test out her garden at the Chelsea Flower Show before it officially opens.

Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis were some of the first people to test out their mum the Duchess of Cambridge’s new garden at the Chelsea Flower Show.

The royal kids looked like they were having a great time as they explored the Back to Nature garden, which features a rope swing, a campfire and a rustic den.

Kate and Wills released some adorable video and photos of their family having a look around – including the first image of little Louis walking – to celebrate the launch.

But there’s one slight issue with the family’s visit – and it turns out they were breaking quite a big rule. According to the Chelsea Flower Show’s rules, kids under the age of five aren’t allowed inside.

Prince George is five so he’s okay, but Charlotte and Louis aren’t technically old enough to be there.

Charlotte turned four earlier this month and Louis is only just one.

The website states: “We regret that we cannot allow under 5s, prams, pushchairs or babes in arms at Chelsea and over 5s pay full price.”

Many fans say the lovely photos suggest that the organisation should  rethink their rules and let younger kids get involved.

Political commentator Jane Merrick posted on Twitter : “Lovely pictures of infant royals at Chelsea Flower Show – I love Chelsea but you wouldn’t see any other under-fives there, because they’re banned. Wish the RHS would change this policy.

“And children over the age of 5 are charged full adult price. The RHS should make Chelsea more child-friendly to all kids, not just those in line to the throne.”

The photos of the kids were released by Kensington Palace as the Duchess promotes her garden which was inspired by her childhood and is aimed at encouraging children to play outdoors to benefit their mental health and development.

Photographer Matt Porteous, who was commissioned to shoot Louis’ christening, George’s third and fifth birthdays, took the relaxed photos.

The royal children spent almost an hour playing with their parents.

William and his two oldest children climbed into the tree house, while the duke also enjoyed a go on the swing.

Kate, Charlotte and Louis also had a go on the swing, and they all had a go playing in the wooden den.
