Kimilili Member of Parliament Didmus Barasa has ordered President Uhuru Kenyatta to arrest Orange Democratic Movement leader Raila Odinga after his name was dragged in the ongoing fake gold scam.
According to MP Barasa Mr Odinga’s right place is in jail. He further claimed that he was not fit to be the next President of Kenya while advising the President wrongly.
“If you use your very small office to advice President of the republics that we are supposed to work together as nations to sell them fake gold, then you are not fit to be president of the Republic of Kenya.” Said Barasa to Odinga
He further said that the President should act up and arrest Raila for trading fake gold just the way he has been arresting people for taking illicit brew as well as corrupt individuals.

In addition, he asked DP Ruto to go visit Mr Odinga once he is put in jail and not to revenge like he did while he took him to the Hague.
MP Barasa’s sentiments come at a time when the fake Gold Scandal is at the pick following Bungoma Senator Moses Wetangula’s leaked audio which featured a voice that sounded similar to his while he was talking to an Arab man while negotiating business.
Senator Wetangula has since not responded to the claims which have seen the Director of Criminal Investigations launch an investigation to find out the authenticity of the audio.
