As the fake Gold Scam continues, Senior Counsel Ahmed Nassir has accused a local newspaper of what he called free advertising for the next gold con in Kenya.
According to SC Nassir, by publishing about the Gold Scam on the front page of the newspaper was a bad idea as this will be easy for gold con men to undertake their next con job.
While talking to his social media the flamboyant lawyer wrote saying, “The oxygen for the GOLD SCAM syndicate is publicity…Standard makes a poor choice in giving a free advertisement for the next con job!!!”

His comment came a time when the fake Gold scam is at the pick which has seen several Jubilee and ODM leaders implicated in the scam. According to Directorate of Criminal Investigation, the fake gold scandal involving the Dubai royal family happens to have now taken political dimension where six alleged suspects are government officials who are will apparently be summoned by the detectives for further investigations in the coming weeks.
The six, according to multiple sources privy to the investigations, are believed to be at the heart of the ongoing investigations and depending on what detectives establish, may face charges in court relating to the matter.
According to the Director of Criminal Investigations George Kinoti Senator Moses Wetangula happens to be a person of interest in the ongoing investigations, however, he is said to be in China for an official tribe with the Senate Committee.
