Will Kariobangi Sharks end their dismal run of form against KCB?

One of the main puzzles of the current Kenya Premier League season has to be Kariobangi Sharks sitting 10th on the log with 38 points. Many would think that the position is too low for a team as talented and well managed as William Muluhya’s but on the real face of it, the position actually does them a favor!

Despite winning the regional SportPesa Super Cup in earlier in the year, Sharks have won just one in their last 13 league assignments, THIRTEEN! They have lost six drawn six and won 1 in 13 matches, proper relegation form in any league from all corners of the globe.

Defensively, the last clean sheet William Muluhya’s men kept was in a 0-0 draw with Western Stima. They are a team in a complete shambles and will need to do better in their next match this Saturday against KCB at the Kasarani Stadium.

Coincidentally, KCB is only a point below Kariobangi Sharks and are 11th on the log. Their last outing on the league produced a healthy result for them, beating AFC Leopards by a solitary goal while also keeping a clean sheet.

With only 4 matches left to play, every point counts especially in midtable where teams are more congested than Thika Road on a rainy midweek evening.

Sharks will be desperate to end their dismal run of form but KCB’s confidence will be sky high after their victory over Leopards on Wednesday. We will cover all the action and reactions as they happen straight from Kasarani for you!
