Malindi MP Aisha Jumwa is still surviving even after being expelled from ODM party.
According to the constitution of Kenya if a legislature is expelled from a political party and the reason ascertained by registrar of political parties,the legislature should be de-listed from the party.
What follows that is being stripped off the legislative powers then fresh elections are called.
But Aisha Jumwa is still surviving despite the ODM party’s decision. Aisha Jumwa was kicked out of ODM for her association with the Deputy President William Ruto.
But why is she still enjoying all the privileges?
According to ODM Party Aisha Jumwa challenged the expulsion decision forcing the matter to be picked up by Political Parties Dispute Tribunal (PPDT).
The NGC made a resolution which the Hon. Member challenged and the matter is now in the hands of the Political Parties Dispute Tribunal (PPDT) >P.E.

Her fate lies on the decision which shall be made by the PPDT.
