Gospel Singer Kambua Mathu is expecting her first child after years in marriage.
Kambua showed off her baby bump for the first time on her Instagram page captioning her photo with a love heart.
This big announcement by Kambua comes weeks after she celebrated her 7th Anniversary with her husband Jackson Mathu.
The celebrated couple has been living a lowkey life off social media by keeping their relationship private away from social media hate and critics.
The ‘Njoo’ hit maker had earlier revealed how the long wait might have thrown her into depression as a result of the frequent trolls online.
She however explains how she managed to overcome this by realizing that she was not the problem but instead the online bullies were simply cowards.
The confirmation of her pregnancy comes about a month after her fans suspected she was pregnant after a rare photo of her tummy looking like a bump.
Kambua had however remained silent about these rumours until today when she broke the news to her fans.
In her years of waiting, Kambua says that there were so many nasty things that people said to her.
Some suggested she should get checked, others ask her who bewitched her and some even go to the extreme telling her that she might have aborted many children.
The news of her pregnancy could also be a reason why she asked her fans not to vote her for the Groove awards this year since she wanted to direct her focus elsewhere.
With this photo, it is pretty clear that she wants to direct her energy to her unborn child, her bundle of joy and blessings.
