A Taxi driver is once again on the spot after a businesswoman he reportedly transported to her house was found dead with Sh300,000 lying beside her.

Residents of Kiamaina said the businesswoman, Mary Muturi, had last been seen three days before her body was discovered in her compound.

The locals said they saw the woman being dropped at her home by a taxi driver.

Wednesday, unsettled residents decide to storm the woman’s home after her calls went unanswered for three days.

“Her mobile phones went unanswered before going off. We were concerned so we decided to come to her house and establish what the problem was,” stated Lydia Wangechi, a friend.
