Ruto delivers 10B from World Bank to Wajir,Garissa projects

The Deputy President William Ruto has decided to put story aside his Tangatanga mission and embarked on serious government projects.

Wajir and Garissa counties will benefit from a Sh10bn World Bank financing for water and sanitation programmes, which will improve primary healthcare systems, boost hygiene and prevent water-borne diseases.

The Deputy President William Ruto witnessed the signing of the development deal for the two counties in his office Harambee Annex in Nairobi County.

DP Ruto called on Accountability and transparency in the use of the money and implementation of the programme.

“It is critical that accountability, transparency and value for money are entrenched in each implementation phase of these projects.”
