Sofapaka and Tusker players among those suspended for round 31 of the KPL

Five players have been ruled out of action as the Kenyan Premier League hits week 31 this due to an accumulation of cards.

Among those suspended include Sofapaka FC defender Faina Jacobs who has an accumulation of five yellow cards with the setback ruling him out of his club’s next tie against Nzoia Sugar FC.

Joining Faina in the suspension list is Western Stima defender Mukisa Junior who like Jacobs has an accumulation of eight yellow cards and one red card received in the last club outing. His cards ruling him out of the ties against Zoo Kericho and Mathare United.

Tusker will too miss the services of midfielder Sydney Ochieng when they take on Bandari FC on Thursday at the Mbaraki Grounds; the former Palos FC man having an accumulation of five yellow cards.

When taking Sony Sugar FC in their next tie, bottom-placed Mount Kenya United will have to do without the services of defender Bernard Omondi who like Sydney has collected five yellow cards.

Last on the suspension list is Kakamega Homeboyz defender Kennedy Ouma who will miss the club’s next tie against Posta Rangers due to a red card revived in a previous game.
