Baby Shower

Let’s be real for a minute.

Aside from all the normal tribulations that an expectant mother goes through, there is one distinct Habit/ Characteristic whatever you may want to call it, they refuse to acknowledge.

The never-ending urge to have sex….anytime….. all the time…. Being pregnant, your raging hormones and morning sickness, not forgetting the amount of weight you’re putting on,issa lot, we get it.

You’re already planning on the baby who is on the way and you need to do everything to make sure your pregnancy will be as smooth. Moping around and eating your cravings away, won’t do you as much good as having sex will. And here’s why

1. An easier labour and recovery

Having orgasms increases the contractions in your pelvic floor, which help to strengthen the muscles you’ll need for labour and after delivery. And I know that you don’t want to have trouble giving birth. So I suggest you get served with the D from time to time in order for smooth sailing if you know what I mean.

2. Fewer bathroom breaks

You pee now, you pee a few minutes later, you pee seconds later. It’s all pee from here. Even when you sneeze and cough. The bigger your baby grows, the frequency of bathroom breaks will increase. The good news is that the same muscles that you’ll be strengthening for your labour can also help with the flow of urine. So keep having that sex boo. It’s for your own good. Oh, and the babies.

5. Preparation for labor

Apparently, semen contains prostaglandins which help ripen the cervix and so this helps your body prepare for labour. Having sex won’t make you go into labour, but it will prepare you for the events leading to your delivery date.
