What you should know about the budding Kenyan rapper Bey T

Kenyan Rapper and songwriter BeyT  is one of Kenya’s fast-rising musicians in the country who has expressed her passion and enthusiasm for the Kenyan music industry.

BeyT  was born and grew up partially in Kenya and the United States and is among artists who have placed Kenya on the International map.

The Singer is  known for her songs dubbed Bad Bad, Vision, If they Dunno and Tanasha’s diss track that has been the hottest talk recently

BeyT says that she started getting into music when she was young and used to watch American Idol and performed for her parents once the Tv was turned off.

“I realized I had that passion for singing  first before I got into songwriting,” she said during an interview

Discovering her talent in music,  BeyT says that the initial stages were not about composing but simply singing and she, later on, got into it.

How did she get into rap music?

BeyT says that she got into Rap music because it was the poetry that she got used to and when she ventured into it she got a crazy reaction from fans and this gave her the pysch to do more.

The Singer says that she has seen her music grow with time and her fan base has equally grown.

Achievements

Her top achievement in the music industry is the fact that she was among the finalist in Mr Eazi’s program that aimed at supporting upcoming African musicians.

BeyT says that being a finalist was a big deal for her and it made her see that her work and talent is appreciated by people from different parts of the globe.

 

Beef with Tanasha Donna

BeyT has been on the trends lately because of her beef with Tanasha Donna for claiming that Tanasha does not care about the Kenyan music industry

Although some claim BeyT is dying of jealous after Tanasha’s debut song ‘Radio’ BeyT says that she had to put Tanasha in her place for pretending to be what she is not.

BeyT thinks that Tanasha ventured into music for selfish reasons which might not necessarily be linked to her passion.

Things got ugly to the extent that she dropped a diss track to get to Tanasha.
