Police on Tuesday gunned down a man believed to be a member of an armed thug terrorizing members of the public within Rhoda Market in Nakuru.
During the operation, five others believed to be members of the group escape.
Detectives had responded to information about a group of armed thugs terrorizing members of the public within Rhoda Market. Assorted Gas Cylinders, Panga and a Knife were also confiscated during the operation.
Reporting the incident via twitter, the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) said a Manhunt for the gunned down thug’s accomplices is ongoing.
“Today, a man was gunned down and Five others escaped after Detectives responded to information about a group of armed thugs terrorizing members of the public within Rhoda Market, #Nakuru. Assorted Gas Cylinders, Panga & a Knife confiscated. Manhunt for his accomplices is ongoing,” the post read.
