Early Christmas! Well wisher launches free feeding programme in Turkana Schools

Pupils from two remote primary schools in Turkana celebrate their early Christmas as a well-wisher agrees to provide free feeding programme at the institutions.

Maisha Project Founder Beatrice Williamson has launched a school feeding programme at two remote schools in Turkana Central Sub County.

The schools to benefit are Lobolo Primary and Lochereikeny primary school.

Ms. Williamson said that the school which has pupils up to class six only go on with their normal school program when the school is provided with food.

Besides, the well-wisher pleaded with the public to donate in aid of the suffering communities in Turkana.

This follows the prolonged drought that hit the region causing hunger.
