In a rather disheartening incident, a woman has killed her 3 children and later killed herself in Waldai Location, Sosiot.
It is allegedly that the unnamed woman poisoned the 3 kids in unclear circumstances before taking her own life.

Area Chief Jonah Koech has confirmed the incident saying the bodies were discovered Monday morning in their house.

Elsewhere, a Kenya Navy officer mysteriously took his own life but not before ending that of his colleague by shooting him severally in Mtongwe Mombasa County.
The officer identified as Kibet reportedly snatched a G3 riffle from his victim, Kimtai, and shot him three times fatally wounding him, before turning the rifle on himself.
Kibet, who was on a pass leave, is said to have secretly sneaked into the barracks before the incident.
“Kibet who had just arrived on pass leave , secretively sneaked into the barracks where he found Senior private Kimtai actively engaged on duty. He snatched his G3 rifle and shot him thrice fatally injuring him before turning the gun to himself, the police report read.
Thereafter, Kimtai was rushed to Kenya Navy Sick Bay where he succumbed to his injuries.
The bodies of the two servicemen were moved to Coast General mortuary as investigations into the incident begin.
In other terrible news, residents of Subukia, Nakuru county were left in shock on Friday after a primary school pupil committed suicide in his parent’s bedroom.
George Waweru, 13, was found dangling on the roof his parents’ bedroom when everyone had left for chores.
Area Chief Mr Joseph Karanja said the boy’s got the shick of his life after finding the body of the Class Six pupil from Oldonyo Mara Primary School dangling in his bedroom.
“The deceased father, Mr Njeru Ngirishon was from work when he found the body of his son hanging on a rope,’’ said Mr Karanja.
The administrator said no suicidal note was found in the house, adding that the boy had not reported to school at the beginning of this term.
Mr Ngirishon admitted that his son went to school on and off.
The body of the deceased was taken to Nakuru Level Five mortuary.
