Murang’a Woman Rep explains why the Interdenominational prayers were called off

Murang’ a County Woman Representative Sabina Chege has spoken about the cancelled interdenominational prayer Rally where the Deputy President William was meant to grace the occasion.

While addressing the media Ms, Chege said that the rally crushed other events including the burial of the Late Jonathan Moi the son to Former President Moi.

She further said that the recent cancellation was attributed by the Bishops request as there were political interest going.

She further added saying that Prayers are ongoing and people will continue praying for the President and the Deputy President in their churches and their places of worship.

In addition, she urged the politicians and the media to stop politicizing every small issue without the right facts.

“This whole issue was made to look like it was an event to undermine the president which was not the case, we love our President, we are the champions,” she added

Ms Chege further added saying that the people spreading rumours that the central Kenya politicians want to impeach the president is just a lie
