Kenol Kobil appoints former Total boss as its CEO

 

Holding company Rubis Energie that owns Total Kenya has selected previous Total Kenya senior official Jean-Christian Bergeron to be accountable for its East African tasks.

Mr Bergeron has worked for Total Oil for roughly 30 years until his take-off in March this year, he will supplant KenolKobil CEO David Ohana who surrendered a month ago and is relied upon as he leaves the firm in June.

Rubis Energie finished the procurement of KenolKobil in March. Financial specialists in Kenol Kobil offered 1,145,757,700 offers available to be purchased; comparable to 96.85 percent of offers not effectively possessed by the French organization. Just 3.1 percent of investors declined the offer.

The French firm has now set out on assuming responsibility for the oil retailing firm including delisting it from the Nairobi Securities Exchange (NSE).
