IEBC praised for a credible, free and fair election

 

The Independent Elections and Boundaries Commission has received a thumps up for conducting a credible, free and fair election.

The IEBC has been praised by the Law Society of Kenya for how it helped in getting the male representative at the JSC.

Former IPOA chairman Njeru Macharia  won the LSK election beating Tom Ojienda.

Lawyers from across the country on Thursday turned up to vote.

According to the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission, there were about 10,186 registered voters across the country.

Macharia garnered 2,738 votes against his closest opponent, Tom Ojienda’s 2,545.

Charles Mong’are Ongoto was also a candidate. He got 123 votes.
