Details have emerged on how a brave woman in Lamu arrested a policeman who is said to have raped her inside her house.
The policeman who has since been identified as David King’ori, is said to have forced the Lamu woman into non-consensual s3x moments before she turned back on him and locked the door from outside.
Police officers from a nearby police station are said to have stormed the woman’s house after her shouts attracted large crowds of people outside of the house.
Police are yet to establish the relationship between the woman and the police officer.
The incident happened barely a day after a KDF soldier grabbed a G3 rifle belonging to his colleague and shot him dead.
The officer would later turn the gun on himself.
“Kibet who had just arrived on pass leave, secretively sneaked into the barracks where he found Senior private Kimtai actively engaged on duty. He snatched his G3 rifle and shot him thrice fatally injuring him before turning the gun to himself, the police report read.
