Political Analyst Mutahi Ngunyi has come out as one of the many Kenyans who are opposing the Handshake between President Uhuru Kenyatta and ODM Leader Raila Odinga.
While speaking through his Channel the 5th Estate Mutahi noted that the handshake is like a cease-fire that will soon erupt and cause the silent damage.
“I want to go on record as the only Kenyan opposing this thing called Handshake and I know the Handshake is dear to Uhuru Kenyatta and Kenyans because it brought us peace, however, I want to submit that the handshake and peace is a big fat lie.” Said Mutahi
He further added saying that peace is not the absence of War but a defeat of the war further comparing it with a weapon that has just been sharpened waiting for war.
Mutahi Ngunyi joins the Tanga Tanga movement that has been opposing the Handshake claiming that Raila Odinga is not in it for genuine reasons.
In addition, there have been claims that the handshake has been Raila is hiding the truth that he wants to break the party ahead of the 2022 general elections, with an intention of locking out Deputy President William Ruto.
