Gor Mahia FC will be without left-back Shafik Batambuze and Dennis Oliech who are injured as they host Sofapaka in Kisumu on Sunday 12 May.
For the match set for 4:15 PM, striker Jacques Tuyisenge and Lawrence Juma will need a late confirmation to know if they take part in the match against Batoto ba Mungu.
Tuyisenge missed their midweek win over Chemelil Sugar. The club will be hoping to have him available as Oliech is out due to a fractured arm.
“Striker Jacques Tuyisenge will have to pass a last-minute medical check-up to be included in today’s crunch tie against Sofapaka. Tuyisenge picked up an injury and missed the mid-week fixture against Chemelil, reads a statement by club.
“Midfielder Lawrence Juma too will have to get a medical nod to be considered for a place in today’s matchday team. Defender Shafik Batambuze and striker Dennis Oliech are all out with injuries,” added.
Gor Mahia have 63 points.
