Reggae lovers yesterday turned up at Uhuru Gardens in numbers for the awaited Etana Returns concert.
The Reggae Queen landed in the country on Thursday 9th May and received a warm welcome from fans as well as a formal welcome by the Tourism CS Najib Balala.
Some of the faces in the concert were of popular people including Activist Boniface Mwangi who was accompanied by his wife.
Etana fans made the show lively with cheers and singing along to the reggae music which kept the party going all night.
Wyre the love child represented Kenyan reggae vybes as he performed a couple of his big tracks of all times.
The pioneer singer Wyre takes pride in being a Kenyan Reggae King of all times and is popular for his notable collaborations with Jamaica’s Alaine, Cecile, and Morgan Heritage.
Wyre is celebrated for his consistence and relevance in the music industry since the late 90s.
Last night, Wyre did not disappoint as he also got to give a world class and memorable performance.
The event then saw the grand performance of the Jamaican Reggae Queen who gave her fans the best of her Reggae tunes.
Fans were clearly impressed by her performance and they believe that anyone planning to perform in Kenya should take notes from her thrilling performance.
Etana had stated that her return to Kenya is because of the love for the people and the fact that they love her music.
After her exceptional performance, many of those who were present can agree that her return was indeed worth it.
