Kenyan Politicians are known to live large and with the huge amounts of cash at their disposal, it is no surprise that they are able to afford the life of Kings and Queens.
Kakamega Governor Wycliffe Oparanya is a rich man. His Lifestyle say’s it all and with the latest pictures of his rural residence coming up the internet, one will be forgiven to think that he is some sort of drug lord.
Oparanya has a vast home as confirmed today when he hosted Opposition Chief Raila Odinga for Lunch.
The Kakamega Governor and Raila are good friends. He is the ODM Deputy Party leaders.
It is also believed that the hand of President Uhuru Kenyatta and Opposition leader Raila Odinga was apparent in his surprise election to head the Council of Governors (CoG).
He has his sights set on running for the Presidency come 2022, a clear indication that he is loaded financially.
Oparanya will therefore be seeking Raila’s help as he aims to takeover from President Kenyatta.

Oparanya and Mudavadi already met Raila to persuade him to support either of them in the race to succeed President Uhuru Kenyatta, but nothing much has come out of the meetings, according to sources.
The two have made it clear that they will not support Raila in his fifth bid for the top seat.
Sources have however revealed that Raila remained non-committal on their demand that he backs a candidate from Western.
