The Kenya Premier League clash pitting AFC Leopards and Sony Sugar will be played on Sunday 12 May at Green Stadium.
The match was expected to commence at 1 PM but was shifted to an hour earlier. It is because of the unpredictable weather in the area.
“Kick-off time for our Kenya Premier League match against Sony Sugar been changed from 1:00 pm to 12:00 noon.Green Stadium, Awendo. 12-05-2019 (Sunday) 12.00 noon. To those traveling let’s plan accordingly and safe .journey to you all,” reads a statement by AFC Leopards
The clash was played on 14 May in Awendo for 60 minutes before being stopped following heavy rains that rendered the pitch unplayable.
The clash was later rescheduled for 15 April but did not go on after AFC Leopards protested they delay of an ambulance which arrived 1:30 minutes after the time intended for kick off. The Leopards also cited a substandard ambulance.
