(VIDEO) The Catholic Church Endorses Bobi Wine Presidency

What a week it has been for His Excellency Bobi Wine, the Ghetto President? From Monday, Bobi has been making strides in the right direction towards his dream of kicking out dictator Museveni.

First he realized that the People Movement needs an expert communication strategist. He managed to convince former NTV anchor Joel Ssenyonyi.

The following day, Bobi Wine announced that he would be joining forces with veteran opposition leader Kizza Besigye to form a united opposition. This comes at a time when opinion polls are putting dictator Museveni’s popularity at just below the 50% mark.

This week Museveni has complained about his Ministers leaving him vulnerable to the attacks of the Kyadondo East MP whom he described as an ambitious young man.

Museveni also criticized the way police arrested Bobi Wine last week, saying they didn’t have to break into his car. It seems the old man is getting scared day by day.

But Bobi Wine’s biggest win for the week came on Thursday when he received blessings from senior Catholic Priest and civil Rights Activist
Father Gaetano Batenyenda.

“At 75 years of age, Father Gaetano has devoted his life to shepherding the people of God, but also working for justice, fairness and equity. He has always spoken out against injustice, corruption and bad governance.” Wine said on his official Facebook Page.

Bobi Wine has realized that he needs God as he heads to what looks is likely to be a trying moment. We don’t want this man to become just like Museveni.

He also asked me to always practice the words in Proverbs 31:8-9 and leave the rest to God. These words are- “Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves, for the rights of all who are destitute. Speak up and judge fairly; defend the rights of the poor and needy.”
