‘Niko safi kama pamba’… Sonko tells Kenyans to ignore graft allegations

Raged Governor Mike Sonko has defended his reputation with a lot of fierceness over misuse of Nairobi County funds.

Through his Face book media, he has poured out a lengthy self defense and accusatory statement on the post.

Quoting the Bible and vowing on his wealth legit acquisition without touching government money, he has invited both the Directorate of Criminal Investigations and the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission to probe him stating that he is as clean as cotton.

If EACC or DCI wants to probe me or my little wealth, my doors are open because mimi najijua niko safi kama pamba and I will never entertain theft of even a single coin of public funds. The official position is I am not under probe by EACC or DCI. Please ignore these misleading sponsored fake headlines. We shall continue to fight corruption and naming the corrupt.”

He insist that Karanja Kibicho should be held to account for the theft of public funds when he was Foreign Affairs PS where he bought Ugandan Embassy Land for Ksh. 650 Million while it was valued at Ksh. 250 Million making away with a cool Ksh. 400 Million of public money.

This matter was raised by Auditor General and was investigated by PAC Committee and prosecution recommended.
