Sometimes, a symptom in one part of the body may be a sign of a problem in another part of the body. Moreover, unrelated symptoms that might be minor on their own could be warning signs of a more serious medical disease or condition.

1. Severe headache

This does not include the small migraines. When you experience severe headache, this might be a sign of a ruptured aneurysm in the brain; swollen blood-filled vessel.

This could be a sign of heart problems in the near future. Research says that snoring can cause thickening or irregularities of the arteries if not checked out.

4. Unexplained weight loss

Significant weight loss of like 20 pounds in the last six months could be an early indication that your body is fighting cancer. This should not scare you as this could also be a sign of depression or thyroid disease. All in all, unexpected weight loss should alarm you.

Tell a health-care professional about your issues with food and weight, or get help if you have a loved one who suffers from these issues. In addition to a doctor who specializes in treating eating disorders, you may need to see a dietician, a psychiatrist, and an eating disorder therapist.
