Huge Blow to Liverpool as Doctors’ Give Unpleasant Recommendation for Salah’s Injury

Liverpool will be having another huge task on Tuesday when they will be welcoming Barcelona at Anfield for their second leg of the Champions League semi-finals.

Liverpool succumbed to a 3-0 defeat at Nou Camp albeit having most of their stars featured. The only players who were left out were Firmino, who was later brought in the second half, and Naby Keita who was brought out after suffering an injury.

The Reds have to beat Barcelona 4-0 to directly qualify for the final.

However, their hope of proceeding seems to be fading after one of their sensational forward Mohammed Salah suffered a head injury during their match against Newcastle on Saturday.

While Jurgen Klopp was hopeful that his player will be in good condition for the Barca’s match, the doctors have recommended Salah should NOT play. The medical protocol in England stipulates 6 days without playing if you have received a major blow to the head.

This means that if Liverpool will follow doctors’ recommendation, they will face the Blaugrana without Salah and Keita all who are down due to injury.
