Education CS Prof George Magoha has proved that he is one of the workaholic state officers Kenya is proud to have.
Known to many that the super CS Dr Fred Matiang’i was the all time known dedicated officer, it seems a new entrant has overtaken him.
Prof Magoha has wistfully managed to attend four official functions within half a day on Monday.
The fiery CS who was once accused of putting the Education Ministry staff on toes by calling for office meeting at 6 AM always starts his busy day with staff briefing.
Later this morning, Prof Magoha held a consultative meeting with the National Parents Association, NPA officials on the Competency-Based Curriculum, CBC at Jogoo House.
At the function, the two parties commended the smooth implementation of CBC.
The NPA officials resolved to support the Ministry’s reforms and CBC.
A few moments later, the CS attended the Higher Education conference at Radisson Blue, Upper Hill.
At the meeting he suspended further creation of public universities citing duplication of courses.
The high spirited CS also attended the launch of CBC training for 1200 education officers at Murang’a High School.
What a busy day for a Cabinet Secretary?
