The brutality of the highest degree was witnessed in Baringo County where a 15-year-old boy was murdered in a bizarre way on Saturday.
Now, Police in Kabartonjo, Baringo County, are investigating an incident where the boy was on Saturday evening found murdered and his eyes gouged out.
Baringo County Police Commander Robinson Ndiwa confirmed the incident where he said that the Standard Eight pupil at Kasesya Primary School had gone to do menial jobs at a neighbor’s house early Saturday morning.
After he was paid in the evening, the police boss said, he headed to a nearby trading center where he had been sent by another neighbor to deliver some animal feeds but he delayed.
The said neighbor then resorted to following him, only to find his body lying in a pool of blood on the side of the road.
According to the neighbor, the deceased had a deep cut on the back of his head, his eyes had been gouged out and his nose cut off.
“We are yet to establish the intention of the heinous act. We have commenced investigations, six suspects have been lined up to record statements and we will follow the matter to unravel the murder, ” Ndiwa said.
The body of the deceased has been transferred to the Baringo County Referral Hospital in Kabarnet awaiting post-mortem.
