Malindi member of parliament Aisha Jumwa has declared total war on Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party led by Raila Odinga.
Speaking in Kibarani ward, Kilifi North at the funeral ceremony of Gertrude Mbeyu’s father, Ms Jumwa has said that the Kilifi people joined ODM party out of their will and nobody forced them to.
She added that ODM secretary-general Edwin Sifuna should keep off Kilifi as ‘nobody recognizes him” there. This comes a day after Ms Jumwa embarrassed Sifuna in Jilore while addressing mourners.
She caused a drama when Sifuna started explaining to the mourners why ODM expelled her from the party.
Ms Jumwa who stood a few metres from the podium with her own microphone interrupted Sifuna’s speech and started speaking.
She raised her voice and told Sifuna to stop his speech as ‘he could not continue since that was not an ODM event’. She then swiftly moved to the podium, grabbed Sifuna’s mic and forced him out of the podium.
It was at the funeral of Mzee Edward Benjamin Kingi Kazungi, father of the Mombasa County Deputy Governor Hon. William Kingi.
Today, Aisha Jumwa has said that Kilifi people recognize Governor Amason Kingi and the “small boys” like Edwin Sifuna should totally keep off Kilifi county.
Aisha Jumwa was expelled from ODM party for gross misconduct after declaring her full support to Deputy President William Ruto.
