A burial in Kilifi attended by both ODM secretary General Edwin Sifuna and expelled Aisha Jumwa turned dramatic at the tune of politics in the ceremony.
Sifuna took the podium to address the issue of Jumwa’s expulsion explaining that he was not responsible for the harsh rules in place in ODM party.
To this rant he was interrupted by Aisha who pleaded he respect the Mijikenda and take politics out of the burial event. To illustrate how serious she was she proceeded to take the mic away from him.
All this was captured in a viral video.
Locals in attendance, are heard in the background asking Sifuna to take a seat.
Dejected Sifuna is then forced to leave the dais, after Jumwa snatches his microphone, amid uproar from the crowd in support of Jumwa.
Jumwa was ousted from the Raila Odinga led party for supporting Deputy President William Ruto in his quest to clinch the presidency come 2022.
Lawyer Donald Kipkorir has dared Aisha Jumwa to prove she is man enough by resigning from parliament and re-contest on Tanga Tanga party.
Donald further called Aisha a poster child of hypocrisy and corruption.
