Deputy President William Ruto looks to have forgiven all the four employees who stole eggs from his Sugoi farm.

According to Eldoret West Police Boss Zachariah Bittok, he received information from above to release the four suspects.

“Though initial investigations revealed that the four workers, who are residents in the homestead were involved in the stealing of the eggs, we have received instructions from above to allow the affected parties to solve the matter outside the court,” Mr. Bittok told a local daily.

News broke early this week that four people had stolen 10 crates of eggs valued at Ksh2500 from the DP’s farm in Sugoi.

There was an uproar on social media, as Kenyans wondered how police were quick to arrest the thieves but have not arrested the people who stole billions in the Arror and Kimwarer Dams scandal.

The reactions turned from hilarious to brutal trolls, as Kenyans said the thieves were just learning hustling from their master.

Someone asked the police not deal with the issue because it was a personal problem.

It seems Ruto could not deal with all these trolls and decided it was time to end the case before he was left embarrassed.
