Rapper Offset facing Arrest…Again

Georgia law enforcement officers have issued a felony arrest warrant for rapper Offset, the one-third of the hip hop trap music trio Migos.

CNN reports that police in the Atlanta suburb of Sandy Springs, have issued an arrest warrant for the rapper whose real name is Kiari Kendrell Cephus. He is accused of slapping the phone out of a teenager’s hand at Target, which seems to be confirmed by video from the phone in question. The 18-year-old victim of the heinous phone-slapping incident says that his $800 iPhone 8 was destroyed by the 27-year-old artist.

This isn’t the first run-in with the law for the ‘Walk It Talk It’ crooner. He has served some jail time in the past, in 2015, the rap group Migos was arrested leaving a show in Statesboro for possession of drugs and firearms and while detained, Offset was charged with fighting another inmate, tabloids reported.

In July 2018, he was also pulled over for his automobile’s tinted windows and was subsequently arrested for gun possession. On February 22, 2019, he released his first solo album ‘Father of 4’.

The father of four was at Wednesday’s Billboard Music Awards in Las Vegas with his spouse, who generously took time out to give an impromptu anatomy lesson to her fans in a video posted on Instagram.
