Buzeki unveils 2022 campaign machinery, Majority is Ruto opponents

Former Uasin Gishu gubernatorial aspirant Zezekiah Kiprop Bundotich alias Buzeki on Wednesday held a closed-door meeting with a group of politicians from the rift valley counties.

Majority of the politicians who attended the meeting in Nairobi are perceived to be against Deputy President Wiliam Ruto’s 2022 presidential bid.

He contested for the gubernatorial seat in 2017 but lost to Jackson Mandago.

Among those present in the meeting include former Bomet governor Isaac Ruto, Cherangany MP Joshua Kutuny and his Moiben counterpart Silas Tiren.

Kutuny and Tiren have been fierce critics of DP Ruto.

Recently rejuvenated Kutuny sarcastically said that the government is being run by President Uhuru Kenyatta, ODM leader Raila Odinga and himself.
