ANC officials now target senator Malala on disciplinary action

Amani National Congress party is now on a mission to discipline party rebels just a day after the suspension of former party secretary general and nominated MP Godfrey Osotsi.

In a statement ANC national chairman Kelvin Lunani said that there are handful Party members who are fond of defying the Party and making rude remarks about the leadership of the Party in diverse public spaces.

He advised that their own day of reckoning is not too far.

“We will continue to strengthen our Party, with a clear focus on the 2022 elections and the quest to persuade Kenyans to elect our Party Leader, Hon. Musalia Mudavadi as the 5th President of the Republic of Kenya,”Lunani said.

He adds “We will continue to be transparent, fair and objective, but extremely disciplined with ourselves and with our membership at the same time. ANC is the Party of common decency, discipline, law and order,”

A source from ANC has hinted that the party is now focusing on senator Malala who has been supporting ODM party leader Raila Odinga.

Malala has on several instances accused of disrespecting Musalia and party ideologies.

Speaking earlier in Busia, Malala said he more than ready to go to the ballot to face the electorate if that is what it will take for them to enjoy their democratic right.

Mr Malala and Mr Osotsi said they were representing interests of people from Western who are demanding answers to know where Mudavadi and Bungoma Senator Moses Wetang’ula were when Raila Odinga was being sworn in as People’s President at Uhuru Park last month.

Malala said assertion by Mudavadi that opposition should start thinking about 2022 election was uncalled for. “You can’t force us to start thinking of 2022 when issues surrounding electoral process are not solved,” said Malala.
