‘Dirty money’ in church is a subject that has brought heated debate in Kenya. Corrupt leaders being in the lime light.
People have expressed their views on the subject some condemning, the act.
Now, men of the cloth have their say on the matter and many of them do not have a problem with the money brought to church as sacrifice and donations. They only prevent politics in church.
However, Bishop Paul Githinji has a say on the matter and he has a point. This man of God said that the church is a place where the money is collected from different kind of people from prostitutes to brothel operators, and it’s wrong to choose one group and fight it.
He added that the only solution to detect dirty money is maybe having a special machine that can differentiate between clean and dirty money, which is impossible.
We need a special machine to detect dirty money. The money offered in churches is from prostitutes, brothel keepers, thugs, holy angels and that is why servants of God should sanctify the money before using it. Mr. Githinji said
He finally said that church leaders should sanctify the money before using it.
People react
True Christians and their God given leaders should commit to pray for country and leaders. Jesus Christ our Savior came to the world mixed with sinners and changed them to God’s children. The clergy in Kenya should NOT be partisan in local politics or judgemental.
Money is money mumu
I agree with the pastor
