Murder cases have been on the rise in Kenya. Several cases of people killing their spouses, sons, and even friends have been reported in the recent past.
A man has been arrested after allegedly butchering his wife at Transami area in Embakasi, Nairobi County.
According to eye witnesses, the mutilated body of the woman is yet to be transferred to the mortuary despite police presence in the scene of crime.
The suspect has since been taken to Embakasi Police Station.
This comes even as alarm has been raised over the rising killings of women by their spouses in recent times.
